As an educator, motivator, mentor, executive, pastor, and trainer, Dr. Nathanial (Nate) Hearne has led countless individuals to exceed their expectations and surpass even their wildest dreams.
One significant chapter in Dr. Hearne’s life involved his pivotal role in the lives of the football players and coaches depicted in the acclaimed film “Friday Night Lights.” Serving as an Assistant Coach, he not only instilled a love for honor and sportsmanship in each team member but also led rigorous strength and stamina conditioning sessions. Under his guidance, the Permian High School team achieved remarkable success, winning the National Football Championship in 1989 and becoming State Champions in 1991.
