Christin is a business mastermind, strategist, and tireless advocate. Her life changed forever when her husband, Paul Slough, became one of the four decorated veterans

During his second deployment, SSG Shilo Harris’s armored vehicle was struck by an IED. Shilo survived with severe third degree burns on 35% of his body. Come hear his incredible story of resilience and belief.
Between work and life, it’s hard to slow down and make time to nourish your soul. It’s easy to get so focused on the destination that you don’t take time to smell the roses along the way. And yet, it’s the roses along the way that make the journey count.
Fellowship Power Lunch provides a place where you can leave all that behind and connect with like-minded individuals. We are a strong community of businesspeople from all over who meet monthly to inspire and be inspired. We host nationally- and internationally-recognized speakers and authors who share meaningful and heartfelt stories and presentations.
When you attend a Fellowship Power Lunch event, you’re helping give back. We tithe a percentage of each ticket to Folds of Honor.
Since its inception in 2007, Folds of Honor has awarded nearly 44,000 scholarships totaling nearly $200 million to the spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled service members. Folds of Honor also supports America’s first responders, including police, fire-fighters, EMTs and paramedics.
LisaKay Gurney is the visionary founder and driving force behind Fellowship Power Lunch (FPL), a faith-centered, featured speakers luncheon in North Texas that blends motivation, inspiration, and spiritual growth with authentic community connection.
Since its launch in 2016, FPL has grown into a cornerstone for business and civic leaders, regularly hosting nationally recognized speakers and fostering deep relationships across the region. In 2019, LisaKay expanded the luncheon’s mission with the creation of the City of Frisco’s largest Veterans and First Responders Appreciation Event, now held annually at the National Soccer Hall of Fame Museum, overlooking the Toyota Stadium. This signature gathering has become a powerful tradition, honoring service, sacrifice, and resilience.
Though she rarely seeks the spotlight, LisaKay’s tireless work and unwavering faith are the backbone of FPL’s success. She continues to shape it into one of the most respected platforms in the community—an event where stories inspire, lives are uplifted, and veterans and first responders are honored with gratitude and dignity.
Fellowship Power Lunch is more than a monthly luncheon or a business networking group. We are an organization that enables servant-leaders to connect and grow through shared goals and experiences.
We are a pay-it-forward nonprofit organization. When we have a surplus from our monthly events, we give back to other nonprofits in the area. The support that Fellowship Power Lunch provides to the US Military and Veteran communities changes lives and greatly blesses the organizations and individuals that are part of this incredible movement.
Our gourmet luncheons are catered by professional chefs. They use only the freshest, highest-quality ingredients and prepare meals that are both healthy and delicious. You will not leave hungry!
It can be hard to build really good friendships, partly because it can be hard to find positive people to connect with. When you come to Fellowship Power Lunch, you know the people here with you are looking to create the same kind of relationships you are. Many of our members are busy professionals who go out of their way to come here because they know they can connect and be recharged.
We are consistently booked out for ten months or more with incredible speakers. They share their wisdom, their time, and their life testimonies to remind us that we’re not going the road alone. We guarantee you won’t leave without feeling inspired.
A generous soul will prosper, and he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed.
